$1M - DROUGHT FUNDING  - 2nd Round

Council has been advised that they are to receive a further $1 Million in the second round of drought funding .  The 1st million has already been allocated and many of the projects either completed, or due to be completed by the end of the year.

We are very happy to announce that for this round, we have a window of time to ask for submissions from the community for ideas and suggestions.

There are guidelines as to what can be applied for, for the spending of this $1M, of which the main ones are outlined in the FAQs with this notice, or in the Council Office window.

To have your suggestion considered, please submit it in writing, by 5pm Friday 13th December 2019.  Councillors will then meet to consider them all, and decide on the successful ones under the guidelines before making our application to the Government.

We look forward to receiving these suggestions and utilising the opportunity of this money to help stimulate our local economy and complete worthwhile projects.

Please send your submission to either:
